What SSD?

Was looking to speed up my PC

It's only used for web browsing, usenet, word/excel, money and managing my music and photos

Currently have AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+
2gb RAM (1.87 useable)
All served on a Asus M3N78 mobo

I guess a new mobo and processer are not going to speed thing up mucso was considering ving my cash, doubling my ram and looking to install an SSD to speed up boot times and loading times

Questing is, am I barking up the right tree? If so, will a cheaper SSD (
